  • Every year, S&P Global’s “Sustainability Yearbook” acknowledges the world’s leading organisations in terms of ESG performance

Enagás has been included in the 2023 edition of the Sustainability Yearbook, a publication issued by S&P Global every year since 2004 in which the agency analyses and acknowledges the performance and excellence of companies around the world according to sustainability, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria.

With 88 points out of 100, the company has obtained one of the highest scores and is therefore included among the most sustainable companies in its sector, Gas Utilities, in the ‘Top 5%’.

For this year’s review process, S&P Global Index examined the world’s 7,800 largest companies and, after rigorous analysis, selected only the 708 most sustainable companies on the basis of economic, environmental and social criteria. A total of 30 Spanish companies appear in this ranking.

These results acknowledge the company’s commitment to carbon neutrality, its setting of ambitious emission reduction targets aligned with science and its commitment to the development of hydrogen and other renewable gases.
