A widely recognised model

We have been a member of the United Nations Global Compact since 2003. Since 2011, we have presented our Communication on Progress (CoP), reporting on progress against the Global Compact’s Ten Principles and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We have also been listed on the Global Compact 100 index since 2013.

Since 2008, our sustainability information has been externally verified. Additionally, the 2025 Consolidated Management Report has been prepared in compliance with the requirements of Law 11/2018 on non-financial and diversity information and with Regulation (EU) 2020/852 on the EU Taxonomy for sustainable activities.

Furthermore, it has used the Standards of Directive (EU) 2022/2464 on corporate sustainability reporting as a voluntary reporting framework.

We have been a member of the Dow Jones Best in Class Index* in the Gas Utilities sector since 2008. Additionally, we were ranked within the Top 1% of our sector in the S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook 2026.

In the latest assessment, we achieved a score of 91 out of 100 as of October 27, 2025, four points higher than the previous year.

We have obtained ISS’s ‘B+ Prime’ rating in 2026.

In 2026, the Enagás General Shareholders' Meeting obtained for the seventh time the Event Sustainability certification based on ISO 20121.

Our Corruption Prevention Programme has been externally certified under ISO 37001 since 2023.

In 2026, we have obtained AENOR's Good Corporate Governance 2.0 certification. We renewed this certification for the third consecutive year, achieving a score equivalent to the highest level (g++).

In 2025, we have obtained the certification of our Risk Control and Management model based on the ISO 31000 Risk Management standard.

We hold ISO 9001 certification for our activities. We also hold SSAE 18 certification for Security of Supply of the System and Technical Management of Underground Storage Facilities of the System.

Our Central Laboratory, whose objective is to contribute to the development of new technologies to improve Enagás’ activity and the industry, has three specialised laboratories accredited by the Spanish National Accreditation Body, ENAC.

The Haz Foundation recognises Enagás with the t*** seal, the highest category in Fiscal Responsibility.

We hold the ISO 55001 certification in asset management.

We have participated in the CDP Climate Change and Water Security rankings since 2009. In 2025, we have obtained a B rating in both rankings.

We have also been included in the A List of CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA).

We have ISO 14001 certification for our activities. In addition, the Huelva and Barcelona LNG terminals and the Serrablo and Yela storage facilities have EMAS verification.

Since 2019, the Energy Management System of the Enagás, S.A. and Enagás Transporte, S.A.U. companies have been certified according to the ISO 50001 standard.

In 2025, we have obtained 'Zero Waste' certification in accordance with AENOR’s specific regulations for the Enagás Transporte, S.A.U. company. *

The Occupational Risk Prevention and Management System for the Enagás Group companies Enagás GTS, S.A.U., Enagás Internacional, S.L.U., Enagás, S.A. and Enagás Transporte, S.A.U. is certified under ISO 45001. 

We have renewed the ISO 27001 certification for our logistics and commercial systems, gas pipeline control systems and industrial control systems for each type of infrastructure that we operate.

We have held the Healthy Company certification since 2017.

We hold the ISO 39001 road traffic safety management certification.

In 2026, Enagás obtained AENOR certification in accordance with the UNE-EN IEC 62443-2-1:2024 standard, an international benchmark for industrial cybersecurity, recognizing the system implemented to protect the operations of the Yela Underground Storage Facility.

In 2025, we renewed the EFR certification, which we have held since 2007, achieving the highest rating (A+ level) for excellence in work-life balance from the Másfamilia Foundation.

We hold the Distinctive of Equality in the Company, granted by the Ministry of Equality, since 2010.

In 2025 we have renewed the Bequal Seal, in the Plus70 category, a recognition that endorses our commitment to the inclusion of people with disabilities in key areas such as strategy, leadership and people management.

We are listed in Equileap's global ranking of the 100 leading companies in gender equality. In 2026, we ranked first within the Utilities sector and second in Spain with the highest score in the index.

Since 2009, we have been recognised as one of the Top Employers in Spain.
