At Enagás, we have a Whistleblowing Channel available so that both company professionals and third parties related to the company, such as suppliers, contractors and business partners, can report conduct contrary to the commitments contained in the Enagás' Code of Ethics. You can also use this channel to send us any concerns or questions related to the Code of Ethics, the Policies and rules that implement it or its application.
All the details on the use and functioning of the Whistleblowing Channel are regulated in the Internal Reporting System Policy, however, below you can find its the most relevant features:
- Communications may be anonymous and will be treated confidentially and in accordance with current data protection legislation.
- Enagás will not permit any type of retaliation against any person who, in good faith, uses the Whistleblowing Channel to raise questions or to bring possible breaches of the Code or applicable regulations to light, or against those who collaborate in investigations into alleged irregular actions.
- Investigations shall be carried out in an objective and diligent manner in accordance with internal rules and applicable law. The rights of those involved, in particular the right to honour and the presumption of innocence, will be respected throughout the process.
- If the whistle-blower wishes to be identified, an optional section has been enabled in the channel where they can enter their data. In addition to this digital communication channel, we also have the canal.etico@enagas.es email address at their disposal, as well as the possibility of sending a letter by post marked for the attention of the Chairman of the Ethical Compliance Committee at Paseo de los Olmos 19, 28005, Madrid, Spain.
We also inform you that once it has been designated, you may also bring to the attention of the Independent Whistle-blower Protection Authority (IWPA) any information you consider relevant through its external communication channel.
