The Spanish Association for Renewable Ammonia (AEAR) celebrated the 1st Renewable Ammonia Conference on 22 October, a forum that brought together experts to discuss the technology for the production, transport and use of renewable ammonia. This conference aims to position itself as a key platform for the exchange of ideas and the promotion of sustainability in the energy sector, with a focus on renewable ammonia and its integration into the hydrogen economy in Spain.
Mary Paz Adán, Logistics-Commercial Manager at Enagás, moderated the round table "The role of ports" (10:45-12:00 h) with the participation of the Port of Barcelona, the Port of Huelva, the Port Authority of Ferrol, the Port of Tarragona and the Port Authority of Cartagena. In addition, Fernando Impuesto, Business Development and Diversification General Manager at Enagás, took part in the business projects session (15:00-17:00): "Development and logistics of green ammonia as a final product".
