The Technical Management Rules of the System articulate the operation of the Gas System, establishing the relationships between the different agents and the corresponding action procedures. They establish the general conditions for the use of the facilities by the users, as well as the main lines for the operation, and include procedures for the management of the System in normal, exceptional and emergency operation scenarios.
These Rules are applicable to the Technical Manager of the System, transporters, distributors, marketers and direct market consumers.
The NGTS and detailed protocols are continuously updated by a working group comprised of representatives of the GTS, CNMC, Ministry, CORES and REE, as well as representatives of the different types of System agents: transmission companies, distributors, shippers and direct market consumers.
The GTS is responsible for forwarding the group’s proposals to the Directorate General for Energy Policy and Mines for processing and, where applicable, approval.
Agent representatives are elected every two years. If you have any questions about the election process, please contact eleccionesgrupoNGTS@enagas.es.
