  • The company scored 91 points in the S&P Global assessment - four points higher than last year - placing it among the best-performing companies globally in its sector.

Enagás has been included in the Dow Jones Best In Class Index World, the world’s leading sustainability index, for the nineteenth consecutive year.

The company achieved a score of 91 out of 100 - four points higher than the previous year - reflecting one of the highest scores in the Gas Utilities sector and a sustained improvement in its environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance.

Enagás achieved the highest possible score (100 points) in several areas, including Transparency and Reporting, Materiality, Risk and Crisis Management, and Policy Influence.

The selection of the companies included in this index - previously called the Dow Jones Sustainability Index World - is based on the results of S&P Global’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA), one of the world’s most rigorous corporate sustainability assessments.

Enagás’ inclusion in this index aligns with its inclusion in the 2026 Sustainability Yearbook, an annual publication by S&P Global that recognises companies with the best corporate sustainability performance worldwide. Enagás is one of only 70 companies worldwide to have reached the Top 1% in this publication.

As part of its Diversity and Inclusion Policy, 50% of the company’s Executive Committee and 40% on its Board of Directors are now women, and the company continues to make progress on diversity and equal opportunities at all levels.

Enagás has been awarded the Equality badge by the Ministry of Equality and has achieved the highest level of excellence (A+) in the work-life balance certification as a family responsible company from the Más Familia Foundation. Enagás has also been identified as one of the best companies to work for by Top Employer Spain.

In 2026, Enagás has once again obtained AENOR’s Good Corporate Governance certification.
