The company is donating €100,000 to the Assistance programme for families who are vulnerable and in situations of social exclusion

Enagás is donating €100,000 to Cáritas for the fourth consecutive year to assist with ensuring basic needs are covered for the most disadvantaged groups. This amount, which the company has previously earmarked for Christmas greetings and gifts, will be destined for the Cáritas assistance programme to care for families who are vulnerable and in situations of social exclusion, focused on improving the quality of life for these people in Spain and on closing the social gap that has been aggravated during the financial crisis.

Through this collaboration, Cáritas will be in a position to offer health and nutritional care to families housed in their shelters and making use of their day centres and community kitchens. More specifically, the contribution made by Enagás will be used to provide food, clothing, footwear, child hygiene products, medicines, housing assistance and educational assistance, and for other initiatives that allow shelter to be offered to the needy families that turn to Cáritas.

This donation is part of the social action policy of Enagás, which aims to collaborate with projects that make a difference to people's welfare, particularly that of the most disadvantaged.
