Enagás awarded ‘Healthy Company’ certificate

The award demonstrates the company's commitment to safety and health

Enagás has been awarded a ‘Healthy Company’ certificate by inspection, testing and quality control body Applus, scoring 86.2 out of 100, thereby acknowledging the company's ongoing commitment to safety and health in the work place.

This shows Enagás' determination to transform its risk management model into a comprehensive health concept catering for the physical, mental and social welfare of all professional employees, and a sustainable working environment.

The company regularly rolls out initiatives to improve staff health and welfare in a sustainable manner, such as the keep-fit community, in which employees swap exercise tips; its participation in sport tournaments and fun runs; the 'Your health: your best job' campaign to encourage healthy lifestyles and prevention advice; or the ‘Healthy Tuesdays’, with a selection of ecological fruit for employees in Madrid, in cooperation with the John XXIII Foundation.

Enagás' new strategic challenges have made health and safety key components of the company's mission and values, and it is determined to go on working on continuous improvement to achieve sustainable results in terms of environmental and social issues and good governance.
