The CEO of Enagás, Arturo Gonzalo, has signed an agreement with the President of AEMENER (Spanish Association of Women for Energy), Carmen Becerril, to promote vocation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers, to drive the participation of women in the energy sector and increase their presence in technical and managerial positions.
Since 2010, the company has held the “Equality in the Company” distinction awarded by the Ministry of Equality. It received it last year for the fourth time in recognition of excellence in the implementation of equality policies between men and women.
Enagás is currently the world leader in the energy sector in the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index, a benchmark that measures the commitment and progress of companies in terms of gender inclusion.
