Sedigas is holding the 52nd edition of its Annual Meeting on 21 May at the El Beatriz Auditorium (Madrid), under the theme “Gas infrastructure, the energy transition and security of supply for Spain and Europe”. The aim of the event is to analyse the current challenges facing the gas sector and to share ideas for advancing energy security and sustainability.
The event will be opened by the President of Sedigas, Joan Batalla, the Secretary of State for Energy at the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, Joan Groizard, and the Head of the European Commission Representation in Spain, Daniel Calleja y Crespo.
Enagás’s Chief Executive Officer, Arturo Gonzalo, will deliver a presentation entitled: “The resilience of gas infrastructure, a pillar of the energy system” (10.20 am).
The closing session will be led by the President of the National Commission for Markets and Competition, Cani Fernández, and the President of Sedigas, Joan Batalla.
