Our volunteer programme was created in 2012 as a global project to mobilise the talent, time and energy of the company’s professionals to promote the social and economic development of the local communities in which we operate.

Hours of volunteering

Since its inception, the volunteer programme has focused on actions to promote equal opportunities, innovation, entrepreneurship, social inclusion, awareness of vulnerable groups and care for the environment, with the ultimate goal of contributing to the welfare, development and education of the local communities in which we operate.

During this period, our volunteers dedicated more than 25,000 hours to social initiatives, in line with the company’s commitments.

Our framework for social action

The United Nations 2030 Agenda recognises volunteering as a vehicle for sustainable development. Therefore, through our volunteer platform, we offer both charity initiatives promoted by the company, as well as activities promoted by non-profit organisations, in which the families of our professionals can also participate. In both cases, volunteers play a leading role in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We take the utmost care of the volunteer experience in each of the initiatives we undertake. All of them respond to our social action framework, which is aligned with the SDGs, and we collaborate with organisations that comply with the requirements of our Social Action Strategy.

Promoting the employability of vulnerable groups through training workshops.

Accompanying the elderly through social inclusion activities.

Play activities for hospitalised children and/or children with disabilities.

Solidary Euro campaign to collect micro-donations, which are deducted from our professionals’ wages, to fund social projects.

Cooperation framework agreements with non-profit organisations intended to create shared value with our stakeholders.
