A widely recognised model

We have been a member of the United Nations Global Compact since 2003. Our Communication on Progress has been reported since 2011. We have also been listed on the ‘Global Compact 100 index’ since 2013.

Since 2008, our sustainability information has been externally verified. Additionally, the 2024 Consolidated Management Report has been prepared in compliance with the requirements of Law 11/2018 on non-financial and diversity information and with Regulation (EU) 2020/852 on the EU Taxonomy for sustainable activities. Furthermore, it has used the Standards of Directive (EU) 2022/2464 on corporate sustainability reporting as a voluntary reporting framework.

We have been a member of the Dow Jones Best in Class Index* in the Gas Utilities sector since 2008. Additionally, we were ranked within the Top 5% of our sector in the S&P Global's Sustainability Yearbook 2025.

In the latest assessment, we achieved a score of 91 out of 100 as of October 27, 2025, four points higher than the previous year.

We have been a member of MSCI’s Global Sustainability Indices since 2010, with an ‘A’ rating in 2024.

We have held ISS’s ‘B Prime’ rating since 2010.

Our Corruption Prevention Programme has been externally certified under ISO 37001 since 2023.

In 2024, we have obtained AENOR's Good Corporate Governance 2.0 certification for the second consecutive year.

We hold ISO 9001 certification for our activities. We also hold SSAE 18 certification for Security of Supply of the System and Technical Management of Underground Storage Facilities of the System.

Our Central Laboratory, whose objective is to contribute to the development of new technologies to improve Enagás’ activity and the industry, has three specialised laboratories accredited by the Spanish National Accreditation Body, ENAC.

The Haz Foundation recognises Enagás with the t*** seal, the highest category in Fiscal Responsibility.

We hold the ISO 55001 certification in asset management.

We have participated in CDP's Climate Change and Water Security rankings since 2009. In 2024 we have been included in the CDP Climate Change A-List, the highest rating of this index.

In addition, we made it to CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) A-list.

We have ISO 14001 certification for our activities. In addition, the Huelva and Barcelona LNG terminals and the Serrablo and Yela storage facilities have EMAS verification.

The Occupational Risk Prevention and Management System for the Enagás Group companies Enagás GTS, S.A.U., Enagás Internacional, S.L.U., Enagás, S.A. and Enagás Transporte, S.A.U. is certified under ISO 45001. 

We have renewed the ISO 27001 certification for our logistics and commercial systems, gas pipeline control systems and industrial control systems for each type of infrastructure that we operate.

Moreover, we have held the healthy company certification since 2017 and have obtained the ISO 39001 road traffic safety management certification.

In 2024, Enagás maintained the efr certification, which it has held since 2007, achieving the highest rating (A+ level) for excellence in work-life balance from the Másfamilia Foundation.

We hold the Distinctive of Equality in the Company, granted by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, since 2010.

We have held the Bequal Seal since 2015 for our commitment to the inclusion of people with disabilities. In 2019, we were placed in the ‘Plus’ category.

We are listed in Equileap's global ranking of the 100 leading companies in gender equality. In 2025, Enagás has become the second highest-ranked ranked  globally and the top company in Spain.

In addition, we have been recognized as a global leader in promoting gender equality in the workplace within the Utilities sector.

Since 2009, we have been recognised as one of the Top Employers in Spain.
