Enagás is part of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), for the tenth consecutive year, according to the latest revision of this global sustainability benchmark, released today.
The company is the world leader of its sector, Oil & Gas Storage & Transportation, with 86 points out of a possible 100. It also leads in 9 of the 21 dimensions analysed. Specifically, it achieved the maximum score (100 points) in the dimensions of Environmental Policy & Management Systems and Labour Practices Indicators, and leads the field in another 7 of the aspects analysed: Human Capital Development, Talent Attraction & Retention, Occupational Health & Safety, Risk & Crisis Management, Corporate Citizenship & Philanthropy, Human Rights, and Social Impacts on Communities.
These results further acknowledge the company’s commitment to sustainability as one of the five strategic priorities of its 2017-2020 Outlook.
For this year's edition, the DJSI World Index reviewed the world’s 2,500 largest companies and, following rigorous analysis, selected only the 320 most sustainable on the basis of financial, environmental and social criteria.
