• Two projects promoted by company professionals start their business journey
Start-ups “E4Efficiency” and “Scale Gas” have been incorporated thanks to Enagás' support. Through their Corporate Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation Programme, “Enagás Emprende”, the company gets involved with these new companies, giving advice and support.
These two projects, now at the start of their business journey, were winners of the 2015 Ingenia Business awards, an Enagás initiative which aims to promote a greater culture of entrepreneurship and innovation in the company. Through this, Enagás encourages its employees’ ideas, helping them to become feasible business models with their support.

In addition to supporting these internal start-up projects through Ingenia Business, “Enagás Emprende” also supports external initiatives in the open innovation framework to access the market, provided they are in some way related to the company’s activity.
“E4Efficiency” is driven by an internal Enagás entrepreneur, Javier Ruesga, and is focused on the development of activities related to energy efficiency in liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals.
The company “Scale Gas”, led by internal entrepreneurs Miguel Ángel Castro and Álvaro Delicado, is dedicated to small scale natural gas services. They offer design, development and management of infrastructures services and logistical solutions.
In June, approval was given to set up the company Vira Gas Imaging which develops solutions for the detection of gas emissions based on infra-red technology. This company was the first project to emerge from the Corporate Entrepreneurship and Open Innovation Programme, “Enagás Emprende”.
