  • The company strengthens its commitment to developing young talent through educational visits to its facilities in Barcelona and Huelva, where students learn more about the company’s daily activity

Enagás has welcomed students from Higher Level Training Cycles in Industrial Chemistry to its regasification plants in Barcelona and Huelva, with the aim of offering them a direct and practical overview of their operations and the strategic role they play in the energy system.

The plant in Barcelona received students from the INS Escola del Treball, who took the opportunity to learn more about the facility’s operations, the essential work performed by the operational teams and the importance of safety at such a critical infrastructure.

Moreover, in June, the plant in Barcelona received students from the CERTEC (Centre for Technological Risk Studies) of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, who are conducting thesis work related to industrial safety and cybersecurity.

The plant in Huelva welcomed first-year students from the IES Vázquez Díaz secondary school, who were given a training experience in the facility’s technical and operational environment.

These initiatives form part of Enagás’ strategy to foster the development of young talent. The Talent Attraction and Development Department works in close collaboration with educational institutions to schedule visits, forge training partnerships and facilitate professional internships at its infrastructures.
