  • The company has obtained the certificate for the third year in a row, achieving a score equivalent to the highest rating (g++).

Implementing best practices in its corporate governance is one of Enagás’ undertakings as a company, ensuring transparency and showcasing its performance to key stakeholders such as investors, regulatory bodies, professionals, customers and the media.

The certificate endorses a corporate culture based on the principles of ethics and integrity and reaffirms the quality of a control framework with a stable and transparent model aligned with international best practices.

The 2.0 version of the Good Corporate Governance Index certificate chiefly takes into account aspects related to the composition, functioning, powers and remuneration of the Board of Directors and the General Shareholders’ Meeting. It also contains a section on compliance.

On this occasion, Aenor has updated the best practices in the field and improved its content while maintaining the methodology based on seven variables grouping together 180 indicators each associated with an individual score, given that the certification implements a system with various levels.
