He has a Law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and is a State Lawyer. He is also a graduate of the IESE Business School’s Executive Development Programme (PDD).
He began his professional career in 2004 as State Lawyer working as a litigation lawyer before the Spanish Courts of Justice. In 2008, he joined the European Commission, where he worked as a legal counsel first in the Directorate-General for Justice, Freedom and Security, and then in the Directorate-General for Competition.
In 2011, he joined Enagás as Head of the Legal Department and subsequently assuming the position of Head of Legal and Regulation Affairs.
He is currently a member of the Executive Committee of Enagás as General Manager of Legal Services and Corporate Affairs and Deputy Secretary of the Board of Directors.
He also holds the position of Chairman of the Company's Ethical and Compliance Committee and Director-Secretary of Sagunto LNG Terminal.
