The Hydrogen Technology Observatory held a webinar on the decarbonisation of maritime transport with hydrogen and other green molecules. This session was organised by Enagás in collaboration with other Observatory partners: Baleària, Everllence, Navantia Seanergies y la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

In this technical workshop, leading companies in innovative technologies will presented the latest developments in engines and fuel cells for hydrogen and its derivatives. Among them, we heard from shipping companies and shipyards, who shared their insights on the opportunities and technological challenges in this sector.

In addition, Navantia Seanergies went in depth into the technological characteristics of its S80 submatine, with a unique system developed in Spain.
