He has extensive experience in business and institutional roles within the Catalan industrial sector.
He began his professional career at IBM. In 1991, he joined the family business RAMON CLEMENTE, S.A., founded in 1931, where he served for over thirty years as Chief Executive Officer and, following the generational handover, currently holds the position of Chairman. The group specialises in the manufacture of glass and decorated packaging for the perfumery and cosmetics sectors, an energy-intensive sector, particularly in terms of natural gas, with an industrial presence in Catalonia and significant export activity.
His close ties to the Catalan industrial fabric have led him to participate in various business projects in the real estate, industrial and technology sectors, as well as to collaborate as an advisor on initiatives for small and medium-sized enterprises in sectors such as packaging, food and services.
He has championed and actively participated in sector-specific business associations, both at the Catalan and national levels. In the institutional sphere, he has chaired the Executive Committee of the Patronat de la Muntanya de Montserrat since 2022.
In the voluntary sector, he has made a significant contribution to PIMEC, where he founded and chaired the Energy Commission, and has served as a member of its governing bodies. He also maintains close links with the academic world, serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Institut Químic de Sarrià (IQS) and Secretary of the Board of Trustees of Ramon Llull University.
