Natalia Latorre

Energy Transition General Manager

Natalia Latorre obtained a degree in Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, specialising in Energy Techniques.

She is a professional with 25 years’ experience in the energy sector.

Currently, as the Energy Transition General Manager at Enagás, S.A., she is responsible for strategy, regulatory issues, sustainability and the development of renewable hydrogen infrastructures, a vector key to the decarbonisation of difficult-to-electrify uses.

She is an Independent Director of Befesa, a company listed on the German stock exchange at the forefront of waste management and the recycling of steel and aluminium of industrial origin, Chair of its Sustainability Committee and a member of its Audit Committee.

Before joining Enagás, she spent a large part of her career at Shell (2003-2022), serving between 2015 and 2022 as the first female President of Shell Spain, a company that has operated in the country for over 100 years. Her first experience as an engineer was in the mechanical branch of Unión Fenosa Ingeniería, focusing on the design of cogeneration plants.

She is Vice-president of the Spanish Gas Association (Sedigas) and a member of its Board of Directors and Strategic Committee. She also sits on the Advisory Board of the Seres Foundation, with the aim of promoting the role of the company in improving social reality and facilitating individual and collective learning.

Natalia is a member of the Advisory Board of Marsi Bionics, a company that creates paediatric exoskeletons for rehabilitation purposes.

She has sat on the Strategic Advisory Board of the Royal Academy of Engineering, working on the Women and Engineering programme since its creation. She is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

She was awarded the title Ingeniera Laureada by the Royal Academy of Engineering of Spain in 2025.
