The health and safety of the professionals who work at Enagás is one of our top priorities.

Our commitment is overarching, as the company is not only concerned about the health and safety of people, but also about the environment in which it operates and the activity it performs.

To fulfil this commitment, we have an Integrated Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management System (ISO 45001), which also includes the Road Traffic Safety Management System (ISO 39001) and the Healthy Environments System, certified under the WHO model.

We are a Healthy Company! We have been awarded the AUDELCO Healthy Work Environment certificate for the 2023-2026 period

Enagás also promotes the safety of its supply chain and its supplier approval process requires that providers have ISO 45001 certification in health and safety.

Enagás’ Health and Safety strategy is based on four fundamental pillars:

We promote a culture based on the comprehensive health care of our professionals and their environment. To this end, we work on four aspects:

We promote a healthy lifestyle

We have launched the "#BienEstar" program, which brings together all the initiatives we promote in the field of health. These include activities to promote the physical and mental well-being of our professionals, to encourage healthy eating, regular exercise and help them to improve their health and that of their environment.

Enagás was recognised by the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality in the "Workplace" category of the 2017 NAOS Strategy Awards (Nutrition, Physical Activity and Obesity Prevention).

We carry out comprehensive risk controls in each of our activities and workplaces to ensure the health and safety of both our professionals and external collaborators.

We apply continuous learning to our daily work to achieve increasingly healthier and safer environments. Accordingly, we have launched the Guide project, focused on strengthening the leadership and health and safety culture of our professionals. We incorporate their concerns and best practices into our continuous improvement system and regularly share recommendations and other awareness-raising materials. We have also introduced a plan to prevent injuries and illnesses caused by working conditions.

As the Technical Manager of the Spanish Gas System, we ensure the safety of our facilities throughout their life cycle. To this end, the following measures have been introduced:

We have basic principles and guidelines in place to address potential threats and adverse situations. To this end, we apply continuous improvement and are constantly optimising our Crisis management, reinforcing the creation and maintenance of an increasingly solid structure in this area.

We evolve and adapt to changes, both within the organisation and our environment, which may affect the different crisis scenarios defined. Accordingly, we carry out awareness-raising and cultural activities and make use of all the advantages that technology can offer us.
