For the second consecutive year, Enagás has been included in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index (GEI), which this year has distinguished the 325 companies worldwide that are most committed to transparency in gender reporting and the promotion of equality. The company has obtained the highest score in transparency and reporting (100%), and it scored above the average for performance and inclusive culture as well as for equal pay and gender pay parity, in comparison with all the companies included in the index.

The list includes companies from 50 sectors based in 42 countries, with a combined market capitalisation of 12 trillion dollars.

The inclusion of Enagás in this index is the result of years of efforts the company has been making in the diversity and equal opportunities fields. These efforts have resulted in important advances in the area of equality, such as the launch of training, coaching and networking initiatives to promote female talent, the increase of women participation in responsibility roles or the implementation of 116 measures to improve work-life balance.

This acknowledgement is added to others obtained by Enagás, such as its inclusion as the first Spanish company within the Equileap Gender Equality Ranking in 2018 and also in 2019. It has obtained the highest score, Level A for Excellence in work-life balance according to the EFR (family-friendly company) management model given by the Másfamilia Foundation, of which it has been a member since 2007. It has also held the Equality in the Workplace Award since 2010 and, in 2014, the company signed a collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality aimed at the adoption of measures to increase the presence of women in management positions.
