For the second consecutive year, Enagás has been included in the global ranking of Equileap’s 100 leading companies in terms of gender equality.
This list assesses the management of more than 3,000 companies in all sectors according to 19 gender equality factors, including gender balance at all organisational levels, equal opportunities for professional development, work-life balance, equal pay, social benefits and occupational health and safety. This year, Equileap selected the world’s leading 100 companies in gender equality, instead of the 200 of the previous edition.
The inclusion of Enagás in this list is the result of the company’s efforts over the years in the areas of diversity and equal opportunities. This work has resulted in important advances in equality, such as the launch of training, coaching and networking initiatives to promote female talent. The company has also increased the number of women in positions of leadership and implemented more than 100 measures to facilitate work-life balance, including the teleworking model, among others.
Enagás has held the Distinctive of Equality in the company since 2010, has been certified as a Healthy Workplace and a Family-Friendly Company (EFR) since 2007, in recognition of which the company has obtained the rating of Level A for Excellence.
