The company continues improving its score year after year
Enagás is part of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI – the global benchmark for sustainability) for the sixth year running. In the latest update of the index published today, the company has improved its score compared to last year.
Enagás has reached the top score of the Gas Utilities industry in the economic dimension, where the most highly-valued items included have been crisis and risk management, customer relations and management control systems. The company has also led the way in climate change strategy, environmental policy and reporting, as well as in the social dimension, health and safety, and stakeholder management.
These results further acknowledge the company’s pledge to sustainability and bolster its commitments in this area, in line with its 2013-2015 Strategic Update.
The DJSI World Index annually reviews the management process of at 2,500 companies and, following rigorous analysis, selects around 10% on the basis of financial, environmental and corporate responsibility criteria.
