  • The Do Good initiative aims to encourage sustainable habits and behaviours that align with the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

As part of its sustainability strategy, Enagás introduced this initiative a year ago to cultivate a culture of responsible behaviour and consumption among its employees, both professionally and personally.

This initiative is in addition to the other awareness-raising and training initiatives that Enagás carries out every year in the area of sustainability, a strategic priority for the company. These types of initiatives are integral to the Enagás Sustainable Management Plan, a plan with more than a hundred annual initiatives that address the company's key concerns and involve all management areas.

Enagás has actively engaged its employees in cultivating sustainable habits through the use of the “DoGood” mobile app. This initiative is aligned with the principles of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By participating in weekly challenges, the employees have made significant environmental and social contributions: such as water conservation, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, decreased energy consumption, waste minimisation and recycling, and fostering a more supportive and inclusive environment.

Specifically, they have achieved the following:

  • 759,502 litres of water saved. Equivalent to 6,637 full bathtubs.
  • Avoiding 2.56 tons of CO2. Equivalent to 23 trips from Madrid to Barcelona by plane.
  • Savings of 10,503 KW of energy. Equivalent to charging 233,364 smartphones.
  • Recycling of 30 kg of waste. Equivalent to 125 bottles of shampoo.

The SDGs to which Enagás employees have contributed the most were: Health and Well-Being (SDG3), Affordable and Clean Energy (SDG7) and Climate Action (SDG13).
