Demand for natural gas in Spain reached a new record high of 1,619 Gigawatt hours (GWh) yesterday, January 25th.

 Demand for natural gas reached a new record high of 1,619 GWh yesterday, due to the low temperatures currently being experienced in the country. Of this quantity, 499 GWh were supplied to the electricity market. 
Natural gas demand yesterday was up 4% on the last winter’s record high of 1,552 GWh, registered on February 23rd, 2006.
