• Equileap has analysed 19 criteria on gender equality at over 3,000 companies worldwide
Enagás is the highest-ranked Spanish company on Equileap’s list of the 200 international companies that are leading the way in gender equality.
Equileap’s ranking has assessed the management systems of over 3,000 companies from all sectors. It looks at 19 gender equality factors, including gender balance at all organisational levels, equal opportunities for professional development, work-life balance, equal pay, social benefits, and health and safety in the workplace.
Enagás has been included in the ranking thanks to the effort the company has made over the years with regard to diversity and equal opportunity. This work has been translated into important advances, such as the launching of training, coaching and networking initiatives to boost female talent, an increase in the participation of women in positions of responsibility, and the implementation of over 100 measures to ensure work-life balance, among which are the application of a location flexibility model (remote working).
Enagás has been a Family Responsible Company (FRC) since 2007, has held the Equality in the Workplace Seal since 2010 and is certified as a Healthy Company.
