The world's largest methane tankers could begin docking at Enagás' regasification plant in Cartagena from this summer

· Tankers with up to 263,000m3 of capacity could dock at the plant starting this summer
· A fifth LNG storage tank, with a capacity of 150,000m3, is currently under construction


From this summer, the Enagás'  regasification plant in Cartagena will be able to receive methane tankers of up to 263,000m3 . With the enlargement, the Cartagena plant will be the first of Enagás' plants equipped to unload LNG from tankers this big. Until now, the berth only allowed entry of tankers of up to 140,000 m3 of capacity.
Menawhile, a fifth LNG storage tank, with a capacity of 150,000m3  is currently being built.
