Enagas new web

19 June 2006

The website now complies with Level A of the Content Accessibility Guidelines.

Enagás’ new website is available from today 19th June at www.enagas.es. This responds to the need to include new content and facilitate fast access to information.

Enagás has developed and designed the new page in accordance with the main aim of ensuring that everyone – regardless of whether they have a disability or of the technology used to access the site – can browse all the pages in the website without any access difficulties.

For this reason, the Enagás website has been designed in accordance with Level A of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, including all the Priority 1 checkpoints established in the Guidelines. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 explain how to make web contents accessible for people with disabilities.

With regard to contents, the website includes all contents arising from the System Technical Management Rules, as well as the new search facilities by date and category of the information, and the ability to download images and documents, among other things. In addition, the website has been designed with a similar structure for every page and enables the user to download all the information in pdf format for many of the menus and submenus.

This website is intended to evolve towards becoming a sector portal in the second half of the year, and a portal of reference for natural gas in Spain further in the future.
