  • First contracts signed through the Electronic Signature platform

    First contracts signed through the Electronic Signature platform


    On 23 April, the first Third Party Access (T.P.A.) contract was signed through the Electronic Signature platform, which was launched in late 2012. This first contract to be signed corresponds to a TPA service for the month of May, and has been signed without incidents through the platform. Yesterday, 29 april, a second contract was signed.

    Every shipper can access this service, which is free for our customers, in the SITGAS Platform, or request information through the e-mail address dgia.gestionatr@enagas.es.

    Infrastructure development highlights


    Connection and commissioning of the Gas Natural Distribución distribution network at position B20.05 - Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).
    On April 23rd, the San Fernando Transmission Centre (Madrid) brought into service the ERM service (72/16) type G-2500 built at position B20.05 - Alcalá de Henares (Madrid) of the Rivas-Loeches-Arganda-Alcalá de Henares Pipeline.

    Connection and commissioning of the distribution network of Gas Natural Distribución at position T09.1- Griñón (Madrid).
    Yesterday, April 29th, the Toledo Transmission Centre brought into service the ERM (80/16) type G-2500, at position T09.1- Griñón (Madrid).

    Zarza de Tajo-Yela gas pipeline.
    The scheduled commissioning date of December of this year remains unchanged.

  • Special operations and work carried out

    Special operations and work carried out


    - Barcelona Plant: Internal cleaning of the pipes linking to pools. This work will be carried out in a 15-day period in May and June, keeping a production capacity of 1,650,000 m3(n)/h.

    - Cartagena Plant: Operating improvements in the boil-off system in May and June. This work will be divided into three one-week phases, which will halt the unloading of ships and the loading of tanks.

    Enagás reinforces its international image at the Conference LNG 17 in Houston


    Enagás was present at the 17th International Conference about LNG (LNG 17), held in Houston (Texas, EE. UU.) from April 16th to 19th. Enagás CEO, Marcelino Oreja, participated as a speaker in the conference “Global Strategy Forum” on April 16th. Enagás had also continued presence in a stand, which served as a meeting point with industry representatives.

    The objective of Enagás attendance to this conference was to promote its international presence through the communication of its services portfolio, as well as the suitability of Enagás infrastructure to be used as an international logistic enclave.

  • Enagás publishes in its website new sections for plants in which it is shareholder

    Enagás publishes in its website new sections for its investee plants


    Since 22 April, three new sections are available in Enagás' website, corresponding to the three investee plants: Bahía Bizkaia Gas (BBG), TLA Altamira and GNL Quintero.

    These sections include information about the plants, their location and general features, and their operational data such as the number of tanks and their capacity, their emission capacity, docking capacity, etc.

    Enagás became a shareholder of the BBG Plant in the last semester of 2010, when it acquired 40% of the terminal. Subsequently, in the first semester of 2011, it bought 40% of the TLA Altamira Plant in the Gulf of Mexico. In September 2012, it acquired 20% of the GNL Quintero Regasification Plant in Chile.
